Transcontinental Packaging is a fully integrated supplier, with our core product being FIBCs (bulk bags), pouches and roll stock films. As a top-ranked, global leader in flexible packaging, we have been serving the United States for over fifteen years.

Rahul Patel

Chief Executive Officer

Rahul leads Transcontinental Packaging from Houston, where the North American operation is run. His focus is the part of the business a customer actually feels: contracted capacity standing behind every order, stock held on the customer's own continent, and a bag specified for the load rather than picked off a shelf.

He works alongside the sales and operations leads on the accounts that need a build instead of a catalogue number, and on the long-running stock programs behind them.

Rick has been with the company for eight years and is responsible for both domestic and international sales. He brings 40 years of marketing and sales experience in packaging, much of it with a Fortune 200 company.

    Leo Mejia

    Bi-lingual (Spanish) Account Manager

    Leo has been with Transcontinental Packaging for 5 years, working with a number of key customers. He is bi-lingual in English and Spanish, and a trained translator who has worked for the US Government.

  • Chris "Tuck" Jennings

    Chris "Tuck" Jennings

    Account Manager

    Tuck brings over 20 years of global expertise in supply chain management, project leadership, and packaging operations across the minerals, plastics, rubber, and chemical industries. A graduate of Lamar and Villanova Universities and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, he has successfully led operational improvements and system implementations across five continents. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his two daughters and family.

  • Mike Wallis

    Account Manager

    Michael has spent more than 20 years helping businesses find the right packaging. He works with customers in agriculture, chemicals, minerals and plastics, and his expertise covers FIBC bulk bags, paper bags, poly bags and BOPP packaging. He focuses on partnership. Michael learns how each customer operates, coordinates supply chain solutions, and makes sure they get the products and support they need to keep running smoothly. Customers rely on him as their direct link to our team. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife of 24 years and their two children, who are both in college.

    Abid Hussaini

    Head of Operations

    As Head of Operations, Abid manages the company’s day-to-day operations, including warehousing, inventory, logistics, shipping, freight, and customs clearance. He works closely with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly and ensure orders reach customers on time. His focus is on maintaining reliable service, managing costs, and meeting customer expectations. Abid enjoys a good challenge and takes pride in finding practical solutions, whether it’s managing a complex shipment or handling an unexpected situation.

    Procurement Manager

    With over 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management across the FIBC packaging and oil and gas industries, Huda brings extensive expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and operational efficiency. As Procurement Manager, she is committed to delivering quality products, reliable solutions, and exceptional service. Her customer-focused approach ensures that every client receives the attention, value, and support needed to build strong, lasting business partnerships. In her personal time, Huda enjoys connecting with loved ones, sharing new experiences, and maintaining a fulfilling life beyond her career.

A great deal of time and resources are put towards the safety of our employees and making sure our products meet and exceed our customers' requirements. Our plants are BRC and HACCP certified and undergo independent inspections.

Multiple packaging experts, with years in the FIBC industry, design and inspect our bags, and our products undergo rigorous testing, from load-bearing trials to UV exposure.
